Is our industry a savior or annihilator?
Organizations, nation states, corporations and others are now using cyber as the reason for a series of actions that often target the most marginalized. Recent examples includes laws and decisions that lead to censorship, internet shutdowns, and passing of draconian internet regulations . This talk will look at what has happened in recent times and what we can do through a public interest technology lens to make things better and reclaim infosec/cyber.
