Electronic music workshop - theory and practice.
This second electronic music workshop explores ideas around playing music with obsolete toys and retro video game consoles, using instruments like the Nintendo Game Boy, the Atari 2600, the Nintendo DS, and other circuit-bent toys. Dominique Pelletier is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, researcher, and educator based in Montreal, where she teaches translation at Concordia University. She plays the Theremin and performs electronic music with retro game consoles under the name Rainbow Trash.
